The goal is to help children grow as readers and writers while keeping their personal information secure at all times.

Information We Collect

When a parent or guardian creates an account, we collect only the information needed to provide a safe and personalized experience. We ask for a parent or guardian email address to verify consent and to communicate progress updates. We create a simple child profile that may include a first name or nickname, age range, and grade level so that the app can adjust content to each learner.

During normal use of the app, children may record short reading-audio samples and complete handwriting activities. These recordings and writing data allow the app to analyze pronunciation, fluency, and writing development and to provide personalized feedback. We also collect general app activity information, such as time spent, completed lessons, and overall learning progress, so that parents can see how their child is improving and so we can refine the experience. We do not collect photos, live video, precise location data, or any information that could identify a child outside the app.

Data Security

All data is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections and stored securely in access-controlled servers protected by AES-256 encryption. Only authorized team members who require the data to operate and improve the product can access it, and all employees receive privacy and security training. We do not sell or share children's information with advertisers or other third parties.

Parental Control and Data Retention

We require verifiable parental consent before any reading or handwriting data is collected or analyzed. If consent is not given, the app deletes any temporary information immediately. Data is retained only while an account remains active or as required by law. Parents can delete their account and all related information at any time.
